One common problem all the electronics beginners have to face, that is we make electronics circuits whose out put power can drive a few mili-watt load, like a LED, but if we have to drive a load of 100 watt(any home appliances) load, then how it is possible?

 Here is the solution- just use a magnetic relay.

What is a relay?

 Relay is an electro-magnetic switching device, used to interface high voltage load with low voltage control circuit.

How a relay works-

Relay is normally a 5 pin device, among them one is normally open (NO)  pin and other is normally closed (NC) pin.
